Amanda Ayars Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Cambridge Who's Who names Amanda Ayars pioneer in fire safety services
PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ, June 6, 2009 /Technical PR News/ -- Amanda Ayars, Administrative Assistant for Central Yavapai Fire District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of fire safety services.
Mrs. Ayars has 14 years of experience in public service, with the last four of these years devoted to Central Yavapai Fire District. Recognized as an expert in fire protection, she is responsible for assisting the Fire Marshal and Fire Safety Specialists with fire prevention, and overseeing public education programs including "Fire Pal," a life and fires safety program that visits schools and informs the community about fire safety. This also includes a senior program which focuses on teaching fire safety to senior citizens. Mrs. Ayars became involved in her profession after working for a fire protection service company for 10 years. She attributes her success to her enthusiasm and desire to continue learning.
Currently enrolled at Yavapai College, Mrs. Ayars is pursuing her Associate of Applied Science in Management. In her spare time, she participates in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and serves as a team captain. She looks forward to completing her associate degree and continuing her professional growth with Central Yavapai Fire District.
