Daniel J. Bonnette Honored for Accomplishments in Vocational Education

Daniel J. Bonnette Teaches Auto Maintenance and Repair to Students Aged 16 to 24

    WEBSTER, MA, February 26, 2010 /Technical PR News/ --Daniel J. Bonnette, Automotive Career Technical Training Instructor for Shriver Job Corps Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of vocational education.

Daniel J. Bonnette brings 40 years of professional experience to Shriver Job Corps Center, an educational institution specializing in automotive maintenance and repair instruction. In his current position since 2008, he is responsible for managing a roster of students aged between 16 and 24, and providing them with a level of training in accordance with standards set by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation. Mr. Bonnette began his career in his neighborhood gas station and previously managed a business with his wife for 34 years. Now set on a career as an educator, he attributes his success to his diligence, attitude, and ability to work with a team and teach his students to do the same.

The recipient of several fellowship awards, Mr. Bonnette earned his diploma in vocational education in 1972. He is an active member of his local Lions Club, particualry Knights of the Blind, for which he designed and assembled a new sightmobile. Located in a 28-foot-long Winnebago, it has eight bays with medical personnel to check glucose levels and conduct sight and hearing exams. Mr. Bonnette looks forward to more years as a teacher, and aspires to get his students certified by the Tire Industry Association.
