As Founder, Owner and Managing Director of Gnortop and Associates for the past 11 years, Geoffrey has consistently demonstrated the vision, knowledge and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Gnortop and Associates began as a small business in 2004, when Geoffrey was conducting and writing training courses as a sub-contractor. The main concept was to offer a trainer to companies already delivering nationally recognized electrical training in Australia. As Mr. Topham began undertaking this work he noticed a niche in the market where there was a lack of qualified and competent trainers. In 2007, he opened the Winnellie Office and applied for RTO status in order to offer high quality training and assessing in some of the National Training Packages.
Gnortop and Associates delivers top-quality training and assessment to persons in all facets of the electrical industry. They also offer courses that are specifically tailored to the offshore oil and gas industry as well as educational services in electro-technology to local and interstate students.
Geoffrey possesses exceptional expertise in mining as well as all facets of electrical industry training. He has a wealth of experience in the electrical field which includes 30 years at Port Headland working for BHP. Before moving to Darwin in 2001, Geoffrey began apprentice training in 1996 and became the training co-coordinator. He continued with training apprentices when he came to Darwin firstly for NTU then Training Solutions and also CDU.
During his educational career, Geoffrey earned a Diploma in Workplace Training and Assessment from Charles Darwin University. Being an outdoors enthusiast, in the time away from his busy schedule, he greatly enjoys fishing and camping.
