Established in 2006, the Australian Trade Training College is a nonprofit technical college that delivers its training through its Registered Training Organisation and Senior Secondary Independent School. The college features industry-standard trade facilities in Commercial Cookery, Building and Construction, Automotive, Metal and Engineering, Electrotechnology, and Beauty Therapy.
The Australian Trade Training College is dedicated to the continuing development of Vocational Education and Training students and the wider community. It works closely with businesses and employers to ensure their specific needs can be met with the programs on offer, industry-current trainers and academic staff delivering over 63 accredited training courses, ranging from Certificate 1 to Advanced Diploma level.
Terry is one of Australia's leading educators and researchers in Vocational Education and Training sector and is positioned well to lead the future development of the college. He has been committed to providing standards of excellence throughout his 30 plus year educational career. Mr. O'Hanlon-Rose is a regular presenter at international, national, state and local conferences and is highly regarded by his educational peers.
During his collegiate career, Terry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysics and Environmental Science and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching from Griffith University; Graduate Diploma in Commercial Computing, Systems Analysis and Design and a Master of Business Administration degree in Organizational Development from the Queensland University of Technology. He is also a Doctoral candidate in Vocational Education and Training at the Queensland University of Technology. In addition, Terry is a Fellow of the Australian College of Educators and a Fellow of the Business Educators Association Queensland.
