Art Foundation President Joins The Stanford Who's Who Community

Katherine G. Bolman PhD has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career.

    HONOLULU, HI, February 9, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Katherine G. Bolman PhD has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career. As President of the Applied History of Art and Architecture (AHAA) Education Foundation for the past 11 years, Dr. Bolman has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

AHAA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a resource for the arts worldwide. Their mission is to provide lessons in art history and to help youth creatively apply that knowledge in an everyday way using the processes of art. The educational objective of the organization is to train the student's Mind's Eye in the Art of Seeing through exposure to great art, real-time immersion in the art world with hands-on projects, and experimentation with classic artist techniques.

Dr. Bolman is an expert in art history and education. During her educational career, she earned a Doctor of Education; Master of Fine Arts, University of Hawaii; Master of Arts in Education, University of Hawaii; Master of Social Work, School for Social Work, Smith College; Bachelor's Degree in Ceramics, University of Wisconsin-Madison.
